Review Of Ma Earth Botanicals Lavender Face Scrub and Hydrating Cream.

Hello pretties,

Today I am going to share with you two products from Ma Earth Botanicals, Lavender Facial Scrub and Hydrating Cream. Honestly speaking, Ma Earth Botanicals has won my heart. Till date I have used their 5 products. All of them are quite effective for the skin. They have made skin relieved, refreshed and healthy. I'd like to say that their products are the blessings from Mother Nature.

Lavender Facial Scrub:

A truly luxurious gentle powder exfoliant to buff and cleanse all skin types. Prepared using a blend of ground English Lavender petals, Sweet Almond nut shells, ground Oats and Milk. Regular cleansing with this fine powder helps to brighten skin and bring glow and radiance to the face. Gently and thoroughly removes dead skin cells and grime, leaving skin deeply cleansed.

The Process:

Mix one teaspoon with rose water or milk to form a wet paste. Using circular upward movements, gently scrub the paste over your face and neck, avoiding the eyes.  Its best to leave on as a mask for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry,

Key Ingredients:

Avena sativa (Oats), Lavandula angustifolia (English Lavender), Prunus dulcis (Sweet Almond), Prunus dulcis (Sweet Almond) nut shells, Silybum Marianum (Milk), Lavandula (Lavender) essential oil, Pelargonium (Geranium) essential oil

Packaging And Price:

The exfoliator comes in a transparent plastic sturdy tub with a black screw lid on which the name of the product and the brand is printed. On the outer side of the tub the other informations are written. I have received a sample size of 40 gm that costs INR 275/-. The actual size is 125 gm @ 975/-.

My Experience:

I have started using the scrub two weeks ago. This earthy colored grounded powder scrub has a mild floral scent that is very soothing and relaxing. I think the lavender works here. I take a tsp of powder and mix with mineral water to form a thick paste. As I apply, it feels very soft on the face. I massage it for 2 minutes with soft hand and wash off with water. The scrub thoroughly cleanses all the dirt and pollutants I gather from the air. It gives a fresh and healthy look immediately after I wash it off. It reduces the oil from the skin but doesn’t make it dry. The natural oils give me long lasting hydration.

Overall, I am quite happy with the scrub. I have used before the rose alternative to it, but I feel it even better than that.

The Hydrating Cream:

Potent and deeply nourishing cream for normal or dehydrated skin. Formulated using a rich blend of Cocoa butter, Avocado, Apricot and Sweet Almond oils, as well as extracts  of vitamin-rich and anti-oxidant botanicals. Sweet almond and apricot oils, rich in vitamins and proteins, known for their ability to prevent the signs of aging  and renew skin cells. This cream deeply penetrates the skin layers, restoring firmess and elasticity resulting in a smooth, clear texture and healthy glow.

The Process:

Gently massage onto cleansed and toned wet skin using upward and outward strokes, till fully absorbed. Use morning and evening.

Key Ingredients:

Vitellaria paradoxa (shea butter), Cera Flava (Beeswax), Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Butter), Prunus dulcis (Almond oil), Vitamin E,  Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe vera), Aqua, Salvia sclarea (Clary Sage), Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli), Cymbopogon Martini (Palmarosa), Foeniculum vulgare (Fennel), Daucus carota (Carrot),  Rosa damascene (Rose), Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) essential oils,  Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) oil

Packaging And Price:

The white colored hydrating cream comes in a transparent plastic tub with black screw cap under which there's a white leak proof lid. On the black cap, you will see the name of the product and the brand and at the outer part of the bottom the other informations. I have received a sample size of the product. The actual product costs INR 1775/-. I couldn’t see the weight when I searched for the product on the website.

The cream has a spicy smell in which you can easily separately smell the rose and geranium oil in the cream. The smell maybe a bit strong, but as it's natural doesn’t irritate my sensitive nose at all. Rather it soothes my senses after applying the cream.  The smell stays long and surrounds me.

The cream is thick and takes no time to be absorbed into the skin. Though thick, doesn't feel heavy or sticky on my combination skin. The cream is extremely hydrated and gives a clear glow on my face. I apply it at bedtime and wake up with a toned skin. Very little amount is needed. It doesn't give me any breakouts, when some say that they have experienced breakouts after using it. But can't say how much the cream do for the wrinkles and skin renewals, as the tester is so little in quantity you can't say much about the effects that need a long-term use.

What do you think about the products? Which one do you want to buy?
